Any Full Moon is a time of heightened energy and of emotional release. With the astrological aspects detailed ahead, the days leading up to this Full Moon have been tense and strained with hiccups and disagreements. Aquarius is a fixed sign who reminds us of our stubborn mind, though likely well-intentioned. Aquarius lives after we are aware of our calling and earthly maturity and right before the urge to dissolve and transcend into beautiful nothingness and everythingness.
I invite you to contemplate the thoughts that you think that keep you annoyed, frustrated, sad, disappointed, or anxious. Isolate and question one thought. Identify these thoughts by writing them down on paper. Write this war down on paper so you don't continue living it. "She can be a better friend," or "there's just something about him," or "he's so arrogant." Who or what are you without this thought? Sit in a comfortable place and meditate on your own thought. How do you feel when you think this thought? Is your body a place of painful sensations when you feel this thought? Ask yourself who would you be without this thought?
Would you be free? Open? Connected? Compassionate?
Meditate on this point in time when you felt this thought and allow yourself to get in touch with yourself. What arises? Maybe you are also getting in touch with the past, or with the future. Are you living in a dream of thinking and feeling what happened in the past? Or obsessing with what might happen in the future? Aquarius has a very strong tendency to disengage and live in a detached reality. Their "ideal" reality. They also have a very incredible power to live in the heart-center of connected reality.
"I need this person's love." Can you absolutely know that this thought of yours is true?
Now, after sitting with this thought and allowing your sensations and emotions to arise, you can turn this thought around. You can allow this thought to be malleable and see that these thoughts can expand rather than stay stuck. What are the turnarounds for your thought?
I need this person's love --> I don't need this person's love. How does this feel?
I need this person's love --> I need my own love. How does this feel?
When you are questioning this thought you are seeing that they can be just as true or truer than the original thought. When you question this thought you invite yourself to look at your own shadow. How are you identifying with this thought? What pain do you live and experience when you live in this thought?

Fungus: Bird's Nest Fungi
Happy Aquarius Full Moon!
If you've been watching the Moon you've noticed them shining with and in between Jupiter and Saturn (yellowish & less bright) in the Southeast. This is also the celebration of Lughnasadh, the first harvest of the year and the coming of darker days. This point is midway between the summer solstice and autumn equinox.

If you've been watching the Moon you've noticed them shining with and in between Jupiter and Saturn (yellowish & less bright) in the Southeast. This is also the celebration of Lughnasadh, the first harvest of the year and the coming of darker days. This point is midway between the summer solstice and autumn equinox.
Even though all mushrooms excel at inviting us to question our thoughts, the Bird's Nest mushroom is center during this Aquarius Full Moon as these mushrooms are one of the strangest. All Bird's Nest fungi are saprophytic, eating dead matter, and their spores are usually dispersed by rain droplets landing in the cups which splashes the spore packets out. Remarkably, the genetic analysis of most Bird's Nest fungi show they belong to the same family as Agaricus (think of the Portabello mushroom).

Aquarius can be a highly capable and loving zodiac sign. They do their best work not when they are angry or detached, but when they are clear and connected. When you believe your thoughts you suffer and when you question your thoughts you do not suffer. This is a meditative practice. If you identify these thoughts on paper and use these tough thoughts and these people as personal teachers, Aquarius knows how powerful and transformative that can be. This is the true power that creates change. You do not have to hate or fear to make change. Aquarius knows that as a human species, we have much more potential than that.
Aquarius is the higher octave of evolutionary change. Because awake Aquarius is emotionally connected (not attached, but connected), they can perceive the truth in each situation and allow evolution to occur at the right moment. Aquarius teaches that the more we are in touch with the Self the more we are in touch with the Universal.
Aquarius teaches us that the only way to change the world is to change yourself. Revolution begins within -- when the Soul of each individual shines for all to see.

Because awake Aquarius is emotionally connected (not attached, but connected), they can perceive the truth in each situation and allow evolution to occur at the right moment. Aquarius teaches that the more we are in touch with the Self the more we are in touch with the Universal.

During this Aquarius Full Moon, Aquarius' mentor, Uranus, is at a 90° angle to the Sun and the Moon. These squares depict the tension and energy that wants to go somewhere. An adjustment is usually required.
What about your life feels unfulfilled? We are all thinking certain thoughts that are holding us hostage in a painful reality. In this moment we are opening to higher vibrations and our higher selves in a new way. We no longer need these "requirements" fulfilled and we are freed from our limiting assumptions. Have you noticed a buildup of nervous energy? It is time to release your grip on these thoughts that you actually have no control over.

Mars' Fiery Shadow
Mars, planet of initiative and desire, moved into their home sign of Aries on June 27th. Mars usually spends about 5 weeks in each sign, but this year Mars enjoys their stay in Aries until January 6, 2021. Mars is also at its closest point to earth, where their influence is felt more strongly. Mars entered their shadow on July 25th, meaning that we are entering the field of Mars' retrograde. Mars stations retrograde on September 9th.
